As our Client Services (Life Insurance Specialist), you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive amazing service and assistance throughout the Life Insurance component of their advice journey.
The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the Level 1 Client Service and Administrative contact for our clients’ Life Insurance needs. By taking on administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service, you will enable our advisers to focus on strategic advice and relationship building within our niche client list. You will establish strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the application process and assisting with ongoing policy management and claims.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Delivering exceptional customer service, serving as the first point of contact for insurance related client inquiries and requests.
- Investigating pre-assessments to determine client eligibility.
- Generating insurance quotes based on client needs and specifications.
- Processing insurance applications efficiently and accurately.
- Managing insurance claims and providing support to clients throughout the claims process.
- Maintaining data integrity within our systems and databases.
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Financial Planning (Dip. FP) or higher financial planning qualification preferred.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in Life Insurance administration, including key responsibilities listed (preferably advice-side experience). Intermediate Xplan experience is essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, and quoting software is favoured.
This role is 24 hours / week and would suit school hours.
You should possess exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), confidence, and an ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Being process-driven with strong organisational skills, decisive and able to prioritize tasks effectively, as well as being a fast learner with a willingness to adapt and grow will hold you in good stead for this role.
