The Private Tax advisory team seeks a dedicated Assistant Manager to join their successful and dynamic group. Suitable for senior accountant ready for their next challenge or an experienced Assistant Manager looking to take on more advisory works. Candidates who are considering this role must be able to work at both Parramatta and CBD offices upon request.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare intricate financial statements compliant with tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Engage in comprehensive tax planning for diverse clientele, offering valuable advice to High Net Worth Individuals, Family Groups, Trusts, Partnerships, SMEs, Multi-national Companies, and SGEs up to $1 billion in turnover.
- Oversee junior staff members in relevant tasks, providing guidance on tax planning and advisory services.
- Review completed tax returns, identifying and addressing non-compliance issues.
- Assist in quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
- Actively liaise with clients, the ATO, external auditors, and financial advisors.
- Exposure to Div7a, FBT, Crypto Tax, CGT, BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Company Tax, DTA, DTL, and tax-effective accounting practices, among others.
- 5-6 years of experience in business services and tax advisory (experience in boutique, mid-tier, and Big4 firms welcomed).
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Dedication to client-centricity and delivering high-quality service.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate professional relationships internally and with external clients.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Efficient multitasking skills for individual and team workflow management.

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Preference for long-term working visas, PR, or Citizenship.
