The Company
Our client has been operating in the southern suburbs of Sydney for over 40 years. They enjoy promoting within the business and they offer fantastic training and support to someone coming into the team. The company works with a number of high profile businesses and families, both locally in Australia and globally.
The Role
They are now looking to take on an Assistant Manager or Manager, Business Services to the team. Be responsible for managing a client portfolio as well as a small team of more junior staff members.
Further Duties
- Work closely with the Partners in the office
- Portfolio management and staff management
- Preparation of accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
- Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
- Effectively build relationships with clients and team members
- Reviewing work and training staff
The Applicant
- 4+ years’ experience in Business Services in Australia
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
- CA or CPA qualified or in the process of obtaining
- Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
- Full working rights in Australia
