About the Role
Provide technical support to all Manufacturing and Operations departments regarding formulations, processes, procedures, and equipment.
Responsible for completion of all assigned manufacturing investigations, some of which are complex in nature, to ensure a timely determination of root cause, batch disposition, and a production environment that meets all regulatory requirements. Provide troubleshooting, problem solving, and technical guidance as needed.

Main Duties
- Conduct process improvement/enhancement projects for the existing product line. This would include tasks such as experiment creation, documentation of experimental plan, preparation of experimental batch records, execution of the plan and result, and, if a regulatory approval is required, ensure the appropriate documentation is obtained and management of the project to the time of the approval
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems
- Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organisation
- Facilitate process change control on behalf of manufacturing, including equipment and batch size adjustments
- Process troubleshooting of solid dosage formulations which may include analytical and technical review of data for all aspects of processing
- Develop and implement processing parameters, and associated documentation and instruction
- Assist manufacturing management on technical issues as needed whether directly or indirectly for all shifts
- Review and/or prepare various reports and manufacturing documentation. These include: Validation Summary Reports, Product Launch Updates, Parameter Sheets, Investigation Reports, Process Improvement Reports, Validation Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and LIMS data retrieval
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives
About you
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry or Pharmacy
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
