About the role
Our Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.
Our Brisbane office is currently recruiting for Process Engineers, either mid-level or senior to work on a variety of ongoing hydrogen design projects. The ideal candidates have previous hydrogen design experience, however a gas consulting background with a strong desire to specialise in hydrogen projects will also be considered.
The types of hydrogen design projects to be executed are pipelines, refuelling stations, metering and control stations, compression facilities and micro grids.
What to expect:
Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable for delivery in the Energy & Resources sector of our business:
- Preparation and review of engineering design documents
- Engineering calculations and datasheets
- Equipment sizing and selection
- Interaction with inter discipline engineers to execute multidiscipline projects
- Continuous improvement and optimisation (new ideas to improve what we do)
Specific Discipline related items such as:
- Flow assurance modelling
- Dispersion modelling
- Process control design
- Pressure vessel design
- Hazardous area design
- Flare design
Your background:
- Experience in the Energy & Resources sector, 1 year minimum
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical/Process Engineering
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
- A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work
