The Opportunity
The Purpose of the Process Lead role is to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and ensure a culture of striving for excellence is achieved through a consistent application of the appropriate systems and tools. This role is key to the achievement of the objectives on the Shepperton Operations Strategy and meeting the goals across the balanced scorecard.
The Position will work closely in the implementation of the operational excellence program to ensure a consistent and standard OPEX framework and applied to drive continuous improvements aligned with operational strategy and aspirations.
- Develop the operations team technical understanding and mastery of process control
- Interpret and analyse data to make informed decisions regarding operational performance
- Centre line and change over Daily Management System owner
- Accountable for the results of the line including safety quality, reliability, schedule attainment, productivity & costs
- Developing 24-hour action plans, setting priority of the team, and allocating resources to support the plan
- Eliminating losses and root cause problem solving
- Building capability of the line teams & enabling self-sufficient teams
What you'll bring
- Exceptional people and business leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build a highly accountable and collaborative culture across the operations functions.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead and implement plant reliability and optimisation programs.
- Sound knowledge of the technology that drives operational efficiencies and improvements.
- Demonstrated capacity to think systemically.
- Effective Communication, influencing and integration skills.
- Problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Analytical acumen.
- Process engineering or TPM experience is desirable
- Extensive experience in FMCG related, Management, Quality or Engineering roles
- Food manufacturing process knowledge and experience.
