Process Technician

Our client is a gold and nickel producer in WA. They currently operate an underground mine in Kambalda and the Higginsville Gold Operations, which includes a 1.6 Mtpa mill and processing plant, near Norseman in the Goldfields region.
The role
· Operation of all processing plant equipment relating to: Milling, CIL, Crushing & the Elution circuit
· Operate the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner
· Operate process control systems using CITECT
· Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
· Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant
· Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
Experience required

• Current “C” Class Western Australian driver's licence
• Minimum 2 years experience in Gold Processing Plants
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable)
• Confined Space Ticket (desirable)
• Gas Testing Ticket (desirable)
• Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
