Rate: $52 p/h
As a Procurement Administrator, your role includes making purchase orders and stock transfer orders, updating records, and responding to order and invoice query issues.
Duties:
- Assist and support team in daily activities, including but not limited to Purchase Requisition and Order management and expediting for both material and services.
- Contribute to meeting all operational KPI’s in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery performance.
- Identify and report cost saving initiatives and implementation.
- Support the management of non-conforming products, returns & credit notes and pending invoices.
- Attend meetings with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation of process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Procurement Manager.
- Proficient skills in computers i.e. Microsoft Office with Intermediate skills in Excel.
- Proficient SAP procurement experience
- Knowledge and practical experience of process management.
- Relevant experience of Materials and or production management.
- Knowledge of stock control, inventory and warranty systems and processes preferred.
- Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, defense, avionics or any other safety critical environment (advantageous)
