Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using multiple consecutive software applications, notably SimPRO (job management program) and Xero (financial program). Familiarity with scheduling programs such as QuickBooks Time or TSheets is considered a valuable asset.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365.
  • Highly regarded: Previous experience in the construction industry, accounts payable/receivable, and human resources.
  • A "Can Do" attitude, unwavering commitment, and a friendly demeanor.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong motivation, quick learning ability, and a professional demeanor.
  • A strong desire to learn and advance within the company.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced working environment.

About the Company and Role:

We are a high growth & progressive Plumbing business recognized for its exceptional team culture and work environment. We are setting new industry standards in Plumbing. The Contract admin Officer role provides continuous opportunities for knowledge and skill expansion, with the potential for advancement into a management position. We are seeking someone who can take the initiative when build processes where needed and be a significant part of a growing company.

As an Admin Officer, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Efficiently scheduling tracking of all jobs from initial contact to completion.
  • Monitoring the progress of current projects and adjusting work schedules as necessary to meet operational requirements.
  • Assigning tasks to staff and creating rosters based on operational needs.
  • Analyzing equipment requirements for maintenance jobs, including equipment such as a drain jetter and cameras.
  • Preparing Claims & invoices and effectively managing customer payments.
  • Handling accounts, including receivables and payables, and coordinating with the finance team as required.
  • Providing exemplary customer service
  • Working closely with Supervisors to procure Materials for projects.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency within production processes.
  • Generating purchase orders.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet business requirements and achieve Peak's financial objectives.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities as they arise.
  • Preparing reports & forecasts as required by senior management.
