Reporting to the Regional Procurement Head of Category you will provide support on a range of projects within the Procurement & Sustainability Group function, working closely with Procurement category managers in Directs, Indirects & Supply Chain categories.
Key responsibilities
- To assist in the roll out of the category management framework that supports the Procurement & Sustainability function.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to understand internal business requirements and determine and help develop best sourcing and category management strategy
- To assist in the transition of completed sourcing transactions.
- To work with the business in ensuring the category delivers the forecast benefits derived from sourcing initiatives and to drive further category productivity over the term of the contract
- Participating in budgeting activity for the next financial year based on existing agreements and built in cost increase/decrease.
- Proposing continuous improvement opportunity of either systems/process as they relate to the Procurement sourcing process.
- Partnering with various internal stakeholders to determine best way to engage the market and reach the best commercial outcome
- Demonstrated achievement of improvements within a supply chain environment with a high analytical component - FMCG preferred
- SAP supply chain experience in transactional and analytical tools
- Demonstrated management of customer / supplier relationships
- Experience with continuous improvement programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
