This position is classified as a PACS Band 4 ($67,425 –
$73,621p.a) under the City of Kwinana’s structured
remuneration system.
About the RoleThe City of Kwinana has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Procurement and Contracts Administration Officer to join the Procurement and Contracts team
on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Coordinator Procurement and Contracts, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of
Procurement and contract processes, whilst providing procurement, purchasing and systems support to City employees to ensure effective use and compliance with the City’s Procurement and
purchasing processes and procedures.
About You
General knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
and financial functions.
Well-developed numeracy and literacy skills, with a
high-level of understanding, experience and accuracy in
document preparation.
Developed interpersonal, communication skills with an
ability to provide a high level of customer service.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems, assess
alternative solutions and develop recommendations.
The ability to use a high degree of judgement and
initiative to take ownership of duties and assigned tasks in
order to achieve desired outcomes.
Developed organisational and time management skills.
Possession of a C Class Driver’s licence.
Desirable
Experience in a contract or tenders’ role.
Qualification in Procurement and contracting, supply
management, contract administration, business, logistics or
another relevant field / or near completion.
Previous experience in Local Government with knowledge of
services and functions.
