Procurement And Maintenance Manager

Chandler Macleod is seeking an enthusiastic Procurement and Maintenance manager who is responsible for the evaluation and purchasing of consumables and most capital equipment. You will  also be responsible for the internal maintenance team (currently 5 staff reporting) and coordinating external maintenance contractors. This is across the (current) two sites: Laverton and Mickleham.

The primary functions of this role, including but are not limited to. Procurement Evaluate:  various potential capital outlays, dealing directly with suppliers as well as Ensure warehouse and office is presentable, clean and tidy at all times Maintenance management: Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are being met and report any areas of concerns to the OH&S Manager and Liaise and coordinate with external contractor to ensure various equipment is in good working order Stakeholder Management: Maintain and develop professional relationships with all external stakeholders/suppliers/customers/truck drivers Staff training and development: Promote team culture and constantly motivate staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse management.  Process Improvement: Provide feedback as to possible improvements that may be made both for Procurement and Maintenance of the facilities.

Your required competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Experience Proficiency across Google Analytics is essential.  Previous experience in a similar role/capacity. Strong planning, coordinating and organisational skills

Ability to supervise, train and develop staff. Forklift license and experience is preferred. Salary on offer for this role is Salary: $100,000.00 Superannuation: 10% Phone Allowance $300 per annum.
