THE ROLE
Are You:
- Experienced in procurement contracts that support the delivery of large scale, fast-tracked social infrastructure projects?
- Experienced in Public Construction procurement process?
- Able to manage and oversee the full lifecycle of procurement contracts and contract administration with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes?
- A dynamic team-player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering outcomes under tight timeframes?
- A proven experience with procurement with advanced interpersonal, written communication, consultation and negotiation skills?
The Procurement Coordinator & People Support will work in a collaborative and innovative team providing advice on and managing the procurement phase activities and sitting on interview panels for the redevelopment of Homes Victoria high-rise tower sites in accordance with the Government's Housing Statement.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Sit on interview panels and work with the Business Services Team in the Chief Development Office for end-to-end recruitment.
- Review Position Descriptions and develop advertising text to attract a talented and diverse candidate pool.
- Provide expert advice about procurement processes, negotiations, approval frameworks and control gates to internal clients and stakeholders.
