About the Job
The Procurement Manager is responsible for the negotiation and implementation of APRA Standards CPS230 and CPS234 requirements in our service provider contracts on behalf of our members.
This role is required to closely partner with the business on contract negotiation and procurement activities including, but not limited to, business case development, RFP/RFI/RFQ design, vendor selection, contract negotiation and execution. You will support the Strategic Procurement team at Rest to deliver on the roadmap provided by the Integrated Reforms Program.
- Ensure the requirements of CPS230 and CPS234 are included in our contracts with service providers
- Drive commercial and value-adds during negotiations of contracts with service providers
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service providers
- Ensure that the management of our service providers aligns with the Supplier Governance Framework and the Supplier Code of Conduct
- Drive ongoing process improvement to deliver increasing efficiency in service provider related processes
- Analyse and report on cost savings resulting from strategic service provider initiatives
