A famous cosmetic company based in Sydney, is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team.
About the company:
The company is an organic certified skincare company based in Sydney that has been manufacturing and selling to national and global retailers for over 22 years. The company applied for its first license to export products to China in 1998 to access the large and growing markets in Asia and has been exporting its products to the region since then. The company’s key markets now include China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, USA and Thailand.
About the role:
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and procuring cosmetic raw materials, packaging materials, and other items needed for our production
- Conducting cost analysis & control based on the price fluctuations of cosmetic raw materials
- Designing procurement plans, checking inventory levels and determining appropriate order quantities, and creating inventory purchase orders based on requisition forms to ensure timely supply of materials required for production
- Tracking purchase orders making sure the ordered goods arriving timely. Dealing with the quality issues of incoming items
- Coordinating internal departments to meet their needs in procurement
- Doing On-site verbal Chinese and English translation for team leader
About you:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of Previous purchasing experience in the cosmetics industry and familiarity with supply chain management
- Strong cost awareness and risk management skills
- Excellent planning, organizing and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Brilliant interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to build solid relationships with customers and suppliers
- Outstanding English and Chinese communication and writing skills to cooperate smoothly with international suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
