Procurement Officer

An exciting vacancy for a Procurement Officer in the vibrant city of St Marys, located in Western Sydney.

As a Procurement Officer, you'll be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, contributing to the success of this organisation specialising in refrigeration and air conditioning technologies.

• This opportunity is full-time long term with the view of turning permanent rapidly.
• Working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.
• Paying between $38 to $40 per hour
• This job allows you to work onsite full-time until training period has concluded which flexible working from home arrangements are available thereafter.

Key responsibilities are:

• Maintaining inventory accurately, including stock adjustments.
• Ensuring the accuracy of orders, invoices, and inventories.
• Assist in the maintain of optimal stock levels at minimum cost.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving.
• Conduct audits as required correctly
• Complete specific tasks allocated to you by your leader.
• Applying company management systems and requirements through documentation practice.
• Participate in stock take when required.

To be successful for this role you will need to meet the following criteria's:

• Have full working rights with no restrictions.
• At least 12 months experience exposed to procurement.
• Strong time management skills
• Great exposure to MS 365 Dynamics and other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory systems
• Ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
• Positive attitude and orientated to the business and its customer base.
