Role Overview:
The Systems Analyst works as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team. This role specialises in analysing, designing, implementing, and enhancing systems and applications.
Services and Responsibilities
- Developing, updating, and reviewing technical design documentation
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to analyse functional and non-functional requirement and turn these into work items for scrum teams to deliver iteratively
- Providing advice issues and risks that affect the development of applications, tools, and processes
- Collaborating with others System Analysts to create and maintain standards across the branch and support a culture of continuous improvement
- Working with developers and testers in the team to deliver application and system integration.
- Contributing technical experience to testing activities
Skillsets
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or Architect
- Experience in the development of technical design documentation
- Understanding the translation of requirements to design and into testing
- Ability to provide SME guidance to teams on the development of applications and systems
Experience delivering these services within a Commonwealth Government environment would be welcome
