About Our Company

We work in partnership with Defence industry and Government to provide cost-effective solutions and in service support capabilities. The Position
As the Procurement Officer, you will provide timely and accurate purchasing/ procurement of materials, goods and services according to specified quantity, quality, cost and delivery requirements.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of purchasing procedures and the ability to follow work instructions to carry out specified activities; a level of technical knowledge is an advantage.
Required
- AGSVA clearance level: Baseline clearance.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and the ability to follow work instructions to carry out specified activities.
- Competent in use of Microsoft applications including Excel at an intermediate level.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, particularly to convey CEA needs to, and negotiate with external suppliers (usually via phone/email).
- Demonstrated/ strong ability to accurately record a high volume of data, analyse and monitor numerical figures.
- Ability to interpret technical data and confirm specifications.
- Ability to multi task and prioritise workloads to achieve required outcomes.
- Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
- Formal qualifications in purchasing/ logistics/ relevant equivalent or a minimum of 1 year commercial experience in Purchasing, ideally in a technical environment.
Desirable
- Experience with PRONTO advantageous.
- A level of technical knowledge is an advantage.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must be:
- An Australian Citizen
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (NV1)
The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement
