Procurement Officer | Exploration & Drilling | West Perth Office

This is a unique opportunity to get in the door of a brand new Exploration and Drilling company. 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support our client during this important set up period. You will report directly to the General Manager and assist in identifying procurement needs and help build the foundation for their systems and processes for a growing team.  

You must have at least four years prior experience in a Procurement role in the mining space to be considered.

What is expected of you on the job: 

• Supporting site entries, encompassing onboarding of staff and contractors, mobilisations to the site. This involves creating staff profiles in INX, Corporate Travel Management (CTM), and INX In-flight programs. 
• Supervising the transportation of orders to site. 
• Timely generation and conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders for all operational and maintenance needs. 
• Receipt of orders. 
• Supplying cost and quantity information to the business as needed. 
• Assisting with rosters, flights, accommodation, and travel arrangements for all personnel. 
• Carrying out other reasonable duties as instructed.

To be successful, you must have and provide:

• Prior SAP / INX experience in a mining capacity
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Manual C-Class Licence with no restrictions
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Ability to work on-site in the office  
• At least 4 years in a similar role within the mining industry
• Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
• Provide a clear police clearance

Additional information

• Attractive salary packages ranging from $110,000 - $115,000
