We have an exciting part-time opportunity (15-20 hours p/w) to join our Consultant team as ‘Product Consultant – Assistant’. You will work alongside Product Consultants, assisting them to look after valued customers who are seeking professional expert advice on tailored solutions for their dream home, in particular - bathroom, kitchen and laundry products.

Location is Norwest - within 5 mins walking distance from the Metro station and other public transport.
The position will report directly to our Key Projects Manager, however you will also be required to take direction from other senior members of staff.
As Product Consultant – Assistant, your role will entail but is not limited to:
- Assisting with client and showroom email correspondence
- Preparation of paperwork for customer showroom appointments
- Follow up with clients to ensure contracts and quotations are kept to required timeframe
- Liaising with the customer, home builder, plumber and members of the Cook’s home builder team for any issues or processes involved in servicing our home builder customers
- Creation of client files in Cook’s Plumbing Supplies intranet for purpose of reporting
- Updating and amending quotes as required
- Committing to training as and when required
- Delegation of work from senior staff that is equal to your ability
- Ensuring a neat and tidy workplace at all times
- Involving yourself in customer service activity in the undertaking of your daily tasks
- Answering phone calls
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Determination and ability to use your own initiative
- An energetic and friendly personality, with great communication skills and good personal presentation
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Computer literacy and an overall willingness to learn
- A team player attitude and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
- Previous plumbing, bathroom & kitchen or building industry experience is advantageous
