Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities and duties:
 

• Collect and analyse data to collaborate on the design of GeoMoby's solutions, with a focus on the underground mining use cases.
• Use your engineering background and prior experiences in data analysis to understand GeoMoby's solutions thoroughly and contribute to their development.
• Collaborate with the Marketing department, analyse users' needs and requirements, and develop new use cases for GeoMoby.
• Design and test MVPs to assess new use cases’ feasibility and assist cross-functional teams in their seamless integration  into GeoMoby's suite of solutions.
• Use knowledge of at least one programming language to enhance data analysis and solution development.
• Ideally, apply knowledge in data science, including machine learning and deep learning, to further enhance data analysis capabilities.
   

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Product Engineer or in a similar role.
• Highly recommended: Prior experience working with/for customers, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills (i.e consulting)
•  Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Strong background in data analysis, statistics and data visualisation.
• Knowledge of a reporting solution (Spotfire, PBI, …)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C…)
• Familiarity with data science concepts, including machine learning and deep learning, is a plus.
   

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in French is required.
   

Requirements:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)
