Based in South Australia, REDARC has 40 years’ experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of electronic voltage converters and associated products, inverters, power supplies, battery chargers, electric brake controllers and trailer braking products. REDARC’s products are rugged and made to last.
In 2015, REDARC acquired Hummingbird Electronics located in Newcastle, bringing their industrial and mining experience to REDARC. Hummingbird brought new capabilities to the business, becoming REDARC's specialised sensing, measuring, and monitoring brand.
In 2019, REDARC celebrated its 40-year anniversary and launched REDARC Defence & Space.
About the Person
This role requires a candidate with diverse skills and compatible traits. Leadership and team management experience fosters innovation and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Corrective Actions on supplier products as a REDARC Engineering representative.
- Initiate and author changes in product and technical information due to market changes, supplier advisories, or REDARC feature requests.
- Undertake other delegated tasks by Line Manager.
- Foster an innovative culture within REDARC by encouraging personal development among team members.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products with exceptional after-sales service.
- Lead cross-functional integration to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Enhance relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the community to uphold integrity.
- Manage the company's commitment to quality by encouraging employees to prioritize quality in product development.
- Manage environmental responsibilities by addressing potential issues proactively and operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and functions at REDARC and influence technical requirements at suppliers.
- Ability to participate, motivate, and influence teams across suppliers and REDARC, earning technical respect based on expertise.
- Robust experience in problem-solving within electronics system supply business, identifying root causes and resolving issues across the supply chain.
- Broad technical experience ranging from simple components to sophisticated systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering.
