About the role
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering/Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams and manage all aspects of the product portfolio, including new product introductions and rationalization of slow-moving models.
- Support to develop and execute marketing plans in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify category drivers and trends, working with Sales and Customers to develop specifications for new products.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of product range performance in sales and profitability.
- Adhere to the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Collaborate with Training Manager to develop training tools on new products.
- Maintain excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver formal and informal presentations to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate:
- Possess relevant Tertiary Qualification with ideally 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to understand and interpret product technicalities with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Analytical and creative thinker
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team oriented with the ability to work autonomously
