AddressCGC Recruitment are partnering with a key client for the recruitment of a Product Manager (Power & Transmission) we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly driven individual to advance their career as a Product Manager based in Sydney. We are seeking a commercial individual who is focussed on delivering growth using Category Management principles.
This pivotal role reports to the National Category Manager and has massive potential to lead and further grow the company’s Hydraulic range of equipment. You will fully own all products and range development to achieve long-term strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ownership and Development of Category plans to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain pricing strategies that maximise the opportunity for category growth through research on market pricing.
- Develop and implement the marketing campaigns, sales tools, promotional material, and catalogues.
- Maintain the full lifecycle of the Power & Transmission equipment category.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Degree trained or extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering with a strong background in Pumps & Valves.
- Proven Category Management or Product Management experience in a B2B environment.
- A customer driven focus.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- The ability to build long-terms sustainable relationships.
- Can exercise initiative, judgement and discretion.
