JOB OPPORTUNITY!
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role plays a pivotal role in providing high-level advice, Business Partnering and support to our leaders and team members across the employment life cycle. You will be working closely with the leadership team to maintain a cohesive and performance focused culture in line with the Firm’s goals and values. In addition, this role will support the delivery of the Learning + Development strategic plan across the Firm. This position is a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Parental Leave, relief contract in either Tamworth or Armidale NSW.
Responsibilities include:
• Advice and support on all HR matters including performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, WHS and Learning and Development.
• Collaborate with business leaders to enable the delivery of the Firm’s goals and objectives.
• Interpretation of employment contracts, relevant awards and relevant industrial relations legislation.
• Support the Human Resources team to deliver on HR business strategy and projects.
• Manage workplace grievances and complaints.
• Work collaboratively with our Learning and Development committee to deliver on strategic plans.
• Implement Learning + Development initiatives to uplift capability of our people.
ABOUT YOU:
• Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources
• Working knowledge of current industrial relations legislation, fair work practices and best practice HR policy and procedures
• Human Resource related tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
• Exposure to Learning + Development will be highly regarded
• Proactive and contribute to a positive workplace culture
• Empathy and respect for all team members, with a commitment to handling HR issues sensitively and confidentially
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with Partners, team members and external stakeholders.
