Our Product Specialist will be based in Melbourne and report to the Territory Marketing Manager in Vegetable Seeds. We are seeking a self-motivated Vegetable Seeds professional to:
- implement clear product strategy and tactics that contribute to maximizing and sustaining overall growth and profitability of a particular Syngenta crop portfolio.
- develop and maintain strong relationships with key growers and industry figures across a variety of vegetable crops;
- identify, assess and promote new vegetable seed varieties via on-farm commercial demonstration activities in key locations; and
- drive sales and market share growth in each of the focus crops.
To be successful in this position it is expected that the applicant has a passion for customers and excellent communication skills. In-field demonstration and reporting skills, strong relationship management, crop marketing and selling skills, thorough knowledge of vegetable horticultural markets, practices, technologies and trends, and an understanding of agriculture from grower through to end user will all support this role.
