We are pleased to advertise the opportunity for a permanent role as Production Coordinatorresponsible for the day to day running of our production, operations and warehouse administration, supplies, and data entry. You will be a point of contact for production queries from operations and provide a high level of support to the Production Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will build relationships quickly and with ease and be highly respected by other team members. You will have a strong understanding of Health and Safety, Quality, SAP, and production fundamentals. You will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Site.
· Responsible for stock count #10 dispensary area and #10 ground floor
· Oversee SAP transactions, finished goods reports, variance reports, consumption, closing MO and communicate any system concerns.
· Support the induction process for new staff/visitors/contractors, including online induction training and PPE allocation.
· Responsible for allocating packaging materials and preparing pick receipts.
· Responsible for stock control and ordering consumables (cleaning chemicals, pallet plastic cover, label etc), amenities, PPE supplies.
· Raising purchase order and completing GRPO.
· Assist with SAP training of production team members, such as finished goods receipt, consumption, creating batch sheets, printing pallet labels etc, to achieve high productivity.
· Responsible for managing share point documents related to production.
· Covers warehouse responsibility in the absence of warehouse supervisor.
· Actively participate in the health and safety function and systems of the site.
· Assist with production as directed.
· Assist with GMP walks as directed.
· Ensure processes are followed and documentation and data entry are completed to the required standard.
· Assist with creating a high-performance culture with a strong team focus.
· Contribute to the food safety management system by embracing the importance of a strong food safety culture.
· Work in a safe and considered manner and help other teams’ members to do the same.
· Other duties as required.
Skills and Attributes
This role would suit a proactive person with great attention to detail who is willing to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of a fast-moving manufacturing operation.
· 1 – 2 years’ experience working in a similar position within FMCG
· Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and other inhouse systems
· Confident user of SAP, including Goods Receipting, Batching, Consumption and Reporting
· Experience with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
· Excellent time management skills

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to stakeholders on all levels
