Responsibilities:
- Production – Plan details of production activities in terms of output, quality, quantity, cost, time and labour availability. Work with Sales and Planning ensuring deliveries are prepared within the required timeframe to meet demand.
- Quality Assurance – Comply with QA standards to assure high-quality products are manufactured. Actively participate and work closely with QA in developing and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Budget/Cost Control – Monitor production output and costs and adjust processes and resources to minimise cost. Meet or exceed manpower budget expectations. Lead and motivate teams to improve control costs and quality.
- Further responsibilities across Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Leadership
- 10 Years’ experience at production supervisor / management level
- Experience in mechanical/Injection moulding/toolmaking/medical manufacturing
- A firm grasp of manufacturing-related activities, specifically production cost control, safety and quality, is a must
- Experience with lean manufacturing, process flow and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Demonstrable leadership experience, good financial understanding and people management skills are a must
