What does the role entail? 

We are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to manage all aspects of our production function. As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will be at the forefront of driving safety, quality, and efficiency within our production and brewing areas.

Based at our state-of-the-art Fermentary in Dandenong South and reporting to the Operations Manager, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the operations team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and fostering a safe and harmonious work environment.

Key responsibilities you’ll sink your teeth into:

Safety first, always. 

• Fostering a positive safety culture that addresses our team members' physical, psychosocial, and social experiences. 
• Lead by example, adhering to Remedy OH&S Policy and safe work procedures.
• Proactively identify and eliminate hazards within production and brewing areas.
• Investigate near misses, incidents, and injuries to ensure a secure work environment.

Quality Assurance 

• Ensure adherence to standard work and process documents, meeting quality standards.
• Maintain documentation for accreditation and traceability.
• Set and maintain standards for production area to be “Audit Ready Every Day” 

Operational Excellence / Drive Continuous Improvement 

• Collaborate with the planning team to optimize production schedules.
• Roster team members effectively to meet production requirements.
• Set and maintain high standards for production area readiness.
• Lead downtime investigations and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Lead process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Drive specific cost reduction projects.

People Leadership 

• Recruit, manage, and lead the Production team.
• Ensure shift supervisors meet KPIs and lead their shifts effectively.
• Identify and address team training needs for successful production plans.
• Be a driving force for Remedy’s values of being Real, Ambitious, Kind and Creative.

The Talent 

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager with significant experience in an operational leadership role, ideally within a Food and Beverage manufacturing environment.

• You’ve got proven experience showcasing high analytical ability in production and cost control measures.
