Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Production Manager to oversee our sheet metal fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing processes, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for driving efficiency and quality in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:
   • Lead, coach, and mentor production staff to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
   • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to develop the skills and capabilities of the team.
2. Equipment Maintenance and Optimization:
   • Oversee the maintenance and repair of sheet metal fabrication equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
   • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or process enhancements.
3. Safety Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to create a safe working environment for employees.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections, promote safety awareness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Inventory Management:
   • Manage raw material inventory levels to support production schedules and minimize excess inventory.
   • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory turnover and control costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, with at least [insert number] years in a managerial or supervisory role.
