Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Production Manager is responsible for the overall management of production and scheduling all aspects of the business’ manufacturing processes. This critical role involves leading a production team of over 100 staff to maximise production and cost efficiency, while maintaining strict quality standards. The Production Manager will also ensure excellent inventory control by generating weekly reports,overseeing manifest updates, route changes, and analysing dead sales orders for stock adjustments.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
Workspace is seeking an analytic and results driven leader with excellent communication skills and Production Control Knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to negotiate and deal with national and international suppliers, read, and understand complex drawings and have a solution-oriented mindset. The successful candidate must also have completed WHS training and have sound Quality and Safety Knowledge along with relevant qualifications and proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Pronto and Accpac is preferred.
