Production Manager - Fruit And Vegetable

Adecco are currently recruiting for a seasoned Production Manager to oversee the production of fresh Fruit and Vegetable products and provide insight into how this successful business can grow. It is a permanent role based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane and it is a Monday - Friday operation with either a 6am or 7am start completing a 40 hour week. This opportunity is paying a lucrative salary plus 11% superannuation and a possible annual bonus along with a fantastic culture and working conditions. Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Set and reach production targets and KPI's
• Allocate resources and roster staff according to workload demands.
• Provide comprehensive training to employees to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Manage the workflow from orders to finished products, ensuring timely delivery with precision.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing products to maintain high standards.
• Streamline workflow between internal teams to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular training and toolbox meetings with process staff to foster continuous improvement.
• Participate in internal and external audits, taking necessary actions based on results.
• Maintain and update internal Bill of Materials (BOMs) for optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and HACCP standards through effective management of hygiene practices.
• Procurement oversight to support production needs.

Profile

Knowledge & Skill

• Experience running a production team to meet targets and KPI's.
• Proven track record implementing production schedules and rostering staff to meet workload
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of product specifications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Previous experience with HACCP food safety protocols is highly desirable.
