We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who is up for the challenge, taking full responsibility to ensure efficiency and profitability at our commercial health laundry in Brisbane. Be prepared to get your hands dirty - we need someone who is keen to learn the ropes and then invest the time in developing and empowering our team leaders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reporting to the CEO.
- Management of Production and Transport employees.
- Achieve Production outcomes through effective rostering of all factory shifts (including weekends).
- Work with shift leaders to ensure production outcomes remain constant and all tasks are completed.
- Maintain work flow by streamlining shifts to maximize resources and reduce costs and facilitate the repair of malfunctioning equipment to reduce down time and promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality and timely service by establishing and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance, quality, administration and SOP's are upheld
About you:
This is a hands-on role, so you need to be confident in the management and delivery of each element in a production operation.
You’ll bring experience in production supervision with you, as well as:
- Being passionate about going the extra mile
- Able to take your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills to develop strong and effective internal and external relationships.
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent organizational skills
