Position Overview: As the Jewelry Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our workshop's daily operations, ensuring the production of high-quality fine jewellery items. You will be responsible for the entire production lifecycle, from the initial design concept to the final product, ensuring efficiency, quality and innovation at every step.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workshop Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the jewellery workshop, ensuring a smooth production process and meeting project timelines.
• Supplier Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers, ensuring the timely ordering and delivery of high-quality materials and components.
• Workplace Atmosphere: Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among staff members.
• Quality Control: Implement and oversee rigorous quality control measures at each stage of the production process to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
• Design Oversight: Work closely with the design team to oversee the creation of CAD designs, ensuring they are feasible for production and meet our aesthetic and quality standards.
• New Designs Production: Lead the development of new contemporary jewellery designs into the production process.
• Stock Control: Manage the inventory of chain, findings, and small gems, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained for uninterrupted production.
• Financial Management: Oversee the budget for the production department, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness in the production process.

Qualifications:

Tertiary degree in Jewellery Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Proven experience in jewellery production management, with a strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a track record of building positive relationships with suppliers and team members.

A keen eye for detail and quality, with a passion for creating beautiful, contemporary jewellery.

Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with stock management systems.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
