Production Operator

Riverina Fresh is a 100% Australian owned Dairy and Food Services company. We produce a range of award-winning dairy products including the iconic Riverina Fresh branded milks, creams, and yogurts. We also provide our customers with an extensive Food Services range.

Our Dairy Manufacturing and Distribution facility located in the heart of Central Wagga has permanent full-time opportunities for collaborative and highly motivated self-starters to join our team in full time roles as Production Operators.

These are secure, permanent positions working with an experienced and friendly team in a busy and dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities are varied and include;

• Operating a pasteuriser, blow mould bottle former, bottle filling or tetrapak filling machine and downstream packing equipment;
• Documentation and record keeping;
• GMP, Quality, safety & hygiene control;
• Meeting production targets;
• Manual handling/stacking of finished product;
• Monitoring and reducing waste.

Key Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
• Be highly focussed on safety, quality & hygiene compliance.
• Be highly focussed on production targets and efficiency.
• Effective communication skills.
• Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative.
• Experience working in an FMCG environment is preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work shift work.
• Availability to work public holidays as required.
• Ability to work occasional overtime if required.
• Ability to work unsupervised when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

We offer competitive hourly rates to the right applicant (including shift allowances and overtime rates). Experience in a similar role will be highly valued, however is not essential.
