Our client based in Clayton are one of the biggest leading paint and coating manufacturing companies worldwide.
They currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Production Paint Manufacture to join their ever-growing team.
This role would be full-time Monday - Friday with shift times reflecting between 6am - 6pm.
Following the conclusion of the training period, your compensation will be subject to adjustment based on the evaluation and discretion of your assigned team leader and supervisor.
About the Role:
Working as a part of team, you will be responsible for:
- Execute the manufacturing of paint, encompassing dispersion and assembly processes.
- Input production data into a computer or tablet for record-keeping.
- Prepare raw materials for production use.
- Set up and operate all filling and associated equipment, such as filtration and labeling.
- Operate various materials handling equipment efficiently.
- Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, including handling licensed materials.
- Operating a tablet-touch screen controlled manufacturing systems.
- Perform routine batch adjustments and doping as required.
- Engage in production final testing, collaborating with specific individuals responsible for quality control.
- Conduct make-up operations as part of the production process.
- Operate fully integrated automated filling systems.
- Basic troubleshooting & configurating machines
- Carry out routine fault-finding and preventive maintenance activities.
About you:
- Previous Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience working in an automated manufacturing or production would be heavily desired
- Victorian Drivers License
- Full Working Rights
- Strong Computer Knowledge to enter data (heavily desired)
- Have a strong knowledge of OHS, GMP & HACCP procedures
- 5S knowledge and general housekeeping
- Able to work in both a team and autonomous environment
