Production Operator/Allocator – Asphalt Plant

State Asphalts NSW Pty Ltd (SANSW) is part of the Kypreos Group which has operated within the Civil Construction industry for over 50 years and is still owned and operated by the founding family members. SANSW is a major supplier of quality manufactured asphalt with 4 asphalt production plants across NSW. 

Role:

SANSW are looking to recruit an Asphalt Plant Production - Operator/ Allocator to help operate its Asphalt Plants. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that has experience within this role, but we are happy to train the right candidate with structured training plan to be provide.

The role involves learning the following outcomes:

• Manufacturing process of asphalt.
• Allocation of asphalt loads to trucks.
• Operation of a front-end loader and other equipment.
• Basic maintenance/inspection requirements of the plant.

The role is:

• A permanent role.
• Need to be available to work shift work as you may be rostered to work both day and or night shift with some overtime.
• Available for immediate commencement.
• Role may involve some regional travel. 

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess/be:

• Previous experience within the asphalt industry is highly desirable but not essential.
• A trade qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
• recommend but not essential.
• Motivated, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and possess a strong commitment to safety.
• Computer literate.
• General Construction Induction Card – White Card.
• Be expected to successfully pass a Pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.

Wage:

A generous remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with experience. Regular overtime is available.
