Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, our Weldlok team are seeking a Production Planner to join the team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Yagoona, NSW.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with the Purchasing officer to determine the material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues.
- Update ERP system with labor and material cost and perform analytics.
- Assist and drive improvement projects in LEAN manufacturing, site improvements and schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met, and factory & business improvements are met.
- Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
- Good Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
- Driver’s licence.
- Forklift Licence
- Experience in a similar role or industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to strategically evaluate and solve complex problems.
- Strong attention to detail.
