About your role
You’ll work with the Pace Planning Team to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards. The Team manages the production process from start to finish coordinating with different departments to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
Here are some of the tasks you will perform -
- Planning and scheduling: Assist in creating and managing the production schedule based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that there are no delays or bottlenecks.
- Inventory management: Ensure inventory levels to ensure ungraded eggs, packaging materials, and finished goods are available when needed. You’ll also be monitoring inventory levels to prevent waste.
- Capacity planning: Ensure that production capacity is optimised to meet demand.
- Communication: You will communicate with different departments (e.g. procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams) in real-time regarding any production delays or issues that could impact delivery schedules.
- Continuous improvement: You will be able to think laterally towards continuous improvement in the production processes, systems, and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensuring compliance: Ensure that production processes are compliant with relevant regulations and standards of major retail customers. This includes monitoring quality standards and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications.
- Transport scheduling: Monitor transport planning - farm pickups, graded ungraded eggs, as well as packaging materials and CHEP pallets.
Your skills & background …
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Demand Planning within a busy Supply Chain area (e.g. Transport & Logistics, volume FMCG environment).
- Strong organisational, problem solving, and analysis skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced PC literacy, notably MS Office – in particular high-end Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Highly developed communication skills, and you are a team player who likes to be challenged!
- Ability to negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders when faced with competing priorities and changing requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- If you have Scheduling experience – this is advantageous, as is strong knowledge with SQL and Power BI reporting!

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity in their first 90 days to spend significant time based in our regional sites to understand firsthand just how our vibrant operations work.
