Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the concrete industry? We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Laverton, VIC. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the production process and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System.
- Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements.
- Oversee concrete production, meeting customer specifications and deadlines.
- Optimize truck and personnel scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain stock levels by ordering raw materials and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and engage contractors when needed.
- Provide leadership and support to the production team.
- Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Effective leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Front-end loader certification and LF forklift license (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
