Production Supervisor

What will I contribute? 

To supervise the production room including the input of raw materials from storage locations into the processing room.

Here’s what you’ll be doing: 

• Monitor quality requirements in terms of product, labelling and packaging to achieve Company and customer requirements
• Schedule resources to process customer orders 
• Prepare regular reports in relation to productivity for line management
• Supervise employees room activities to achieve on time production according to the production schedule in the most cost-efficient way.
• Monitor and report on progress of team members throughout the day to the Labour Manager
• Monitor individual and team performance
• Facilitate communication across the team
• Understand role expectations and how individual performance affects team outcomes
• Track and analyse individual performance against team performance
• Motivate employees/workers to achieve their targets
• Ensure all employees/workers are working safely and have been trained to perform their roles according to the relevant STS (Safety Trained Supervisor) 
• Ensure all employees/workers are wearing the correct PPE
• Train new employees/workers

The role is based at Flemington, with free on-site parking and easy access to public transport. 

What do I need for the role? 

You’ll have: 

• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams to deliver outcomes
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated communication capability, both written and oral
• Ability to comply with Company and legislative requirements
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to provide guidance and instruction to workers to achieve production outcomes
• Ability to comply with and support Company policies, procedures and processes
