About Our Client
Our client is one of the largest integrated suppliers and manufacturers of building materials and solutions in Australia & New Zealand, delivering construction materials since 1901.
What You Will Be Doing
Your purpose is to lead and manage the concrete plant team to ensure that cost effective concrete is produced both safely and sustainably
The role will be predominantly based in the South of the River plants for adhoc support and coverage for night shift depending on requirements.
Responsibilities and duties:
⢠To produce and get concrete âout the gateâ.
⢠To work closely with the Area Operations Manager to achieve the efficient and cost effective
⢠operation at the site, that meets customer service requirements.
⢠To engage with all plant staff and drivers and provide strong leadership in the areas of health and
⢠safety, the environment, operations management, cost management and operational improvement.
⢠Set daily rosters of trucks and people.
⢠Scheduling of jobs.
⢠Directing drivers and plant staff.
⢠Ordering of raw materials.
⢠Scheduling of SIT meetings, toolbox talks and daily start-up meetings.
What You Will Need
Experience in a similar role
Valid right to work
Strong leadership skills
Loader Operator Experience
