Production Team Leader

Our client is based in Clayton, and they are one of the worlds' leading paint and coating manufacturers. They currently have multiple opportunities for permanent full-time Production Team Leaders to join their ever-growing team.
This is a day-shift position with shift times between 6am-6pm.
Following an initial training period, your remuneration will be increased per the applicable EBA at the discretion of your assigned manager. An assessment or demonstration of ability may be required.
About the Role: Working as a part of team, you will be responsible for:
Lead and supervise Production Team members in the paint-making areas
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Coordinating workflow and allocate tasks efficiently
Training and mentor team members for skill development
Monitoring and optimising production processes
Execute the manufacturing of paint, encompassing dispersion and assembly processes.
Input production data into a computer or tablet for record-keeping.
Prepare raw materials for production use.
Set up and operate all filling and associated equipment, such as filtration and labeling.
Operate various materials handling equipment efficiently.
Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, including handling licensed materials.
Operating a tablet-touch screen controlled manufacturing systems.
Perform routine batch adjustments and doping as required.
Engage in production final testing, collaborating with specific individuals responsible for quality control.
Conduct make-up operations as part of the production process.
Operate fully integrated automated filling systems.
Basic troubleshooting & configurating machines
Carry out routine fault-finding and preventive maintenance activities.
About you:
Previous Team Leader or Leading Hand experience is a must
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience working in an automated manufacturing or production would be heavily desired
Victorian Drivers License
Full Working Rights
Strong Computer Knowledge to enter data (heavily desired)
Have a strong knowledge of OHS, GMP & HACCP procedures
5S knowledge and general housekeeping
Able to work in both a team and autonomous environment
