As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in shift operations, driving improvement initiatives and fostering a safe working culture.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead shift operations, ensuring safety and adherence to NCI OHS policies.
- Ensure product quality and food safety meets NCI and customer standards.
- Coordinate labour effectively to achieve production goals.
- Operate and maintain equipment optimally.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and improvements.
- Achieve targets and conduct toolbox meetings.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping standards.
- Organize and perform equipment changes and troubleshooting.
- Exercise discretion and judgment within authority.
- Communicate effectively with other teams.
- Actively participate in improvement projects.
- Perform team duties to ensure continuous production.
- Lead and participate in training initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of injection moulding, manufacturing and support processes (preferred)
- Experience in team management and process improvement.
- Forklift license (preferred).
- Suitable IT skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
