Our Client is a locally owned and established leader within the window furnishings industry. Are looking for an experienced Zip-screen and/or Roller Blind Production Supervisor / Plant Manager to join and lead our team at our new factory located in Newcastle NSW.
Key Responsibilities: Directly manage our factory / warehouse / assembly / manufacture / quality assurance and dispatch of our Quality product.
Production planning and scheduling
Lead and Mentor a Small Production Team
Stock forecasting
Identify, report and problem solve any issues
Foster company values and positive company culture among the team
Maintain high staff morale, model excellent leadership and teamwork.
Manage and enforce a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Work with the National Production Manager re improvements
Strive to meet all KPIs
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experienced in managing manufacturing or production line facilities
- Experience in lean manufacturing
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable and punctual
- Organised
- Hands on and proactive
- Effective communicator
- High attention to detail
- Diligent work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously
- An effective Leader and Mentor
