Stone Axe Pastoral are seeking a Production & Sales Coordinator with 2 years experience to join our national Sales & Marketing team, based in West Perth.
Due to the specialisation of the premium Wagyu Beef industry, we are looking for applicants with beef industry experience and/or inventory & supply chain/logistics experience.
This role is responsible for providing highly organized and detail-oriented support in coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain management with a focus on the timely & accurate coordination of export documents and the required logistics for both export and domestic sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and invoice incoming orders to ensure accuracy and quality customer service
- Manage product exportation process including raising and reviewing documentation, for Sea and Air; inclusive with direct commination with shipping providers.
- Obtain signed contracts from customers prior to delivery and route through applicable systems
- Tracking shipments for customers
- Receive load out confirmations and prepare pack lists and invoices
- Books freight as required (Air, Sea, Local Courier and Inter-State) and maintain booking logs
- Process and approve freight charges and add to invoices
- Update pending orders
- Ensure purchase orders are obtained from customers
- Monitor new order emails for new orders or updates and changes
- Monitor general sales mailbox for sales and marketing team
- Answer telephone enquiries – general enquiry & product information
- Assist with the preparation of bids and proposals for the sales and marketing team
- Maintain CRM
- Assist with miscellaneous sales, marketing, production and administration duties
- Provide support to finance team in relation to invoicing for orders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Be able to work within different time zones
- Ability to function independently with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
- Customer-centric attitude with the ability to build relationships via email, telephone, and Teams/Zooms
- Experience using a client relationship management system
- Operational understanding of invoicing and logistics processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight logistics deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to detail and accuracy
