Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Program Change Manager contract to 24/09/2024 based in the Brisbane CBD and working from home.
The Program Change Manager role will be responsible for providing a wide range of support services to facilitate effective and efficient delivery of organisational change for adoption within the new Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre (LVCC).
In this role you will:
- Lead change management activities to effectively support the Director Change Management to achieve on-time program outcomes, ensuring wider buy-in across the agency.
- Be responsible for managing the business side of the organisational change and communications for the program, by designing and implementing the change approach, preparing the business, and maximising adoption of the change.
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the program’s projects and workstream’s change management approach and plans are practical and achievable, address all components, and can be executed to achieve commissioning and ongoing service delivery.
- Ensure the client is prepared for SQCP-S2’s new operating model and process changes.
- Provide a bridge between the program, projects and the business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed, enabling all impacted stakeholders to implement the agreed changes and realise anticipated benefits.
- Develop strategic relationships and engage with key internal/external stakeholders and represent in a range of forums/committees to advance the interest of SQCP-S2.
You will have:
- Extensive experience leading organisational change and culture reform on a program / project, in a large and complex public sector organisation.
- Extensive experience in advising on internal and external communications related to change management in a large-scale public-sector agency.
- Extensive ability to assess, manage, and propose solutions for complex issues and/or risks to enable achievement of the organisation’s priorities and objectives.
- Understanding of the elements of project management, including contemporary change management and business integration processes and strategies.
- Extensive experience designing and developing organisational change management artefacts and tools, reports and executive documentation in accordance with government standards.
- High-level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and with a proven ability to negotiate and communicate with influence on sensitive and complex issues.
- Highly developed leadership skills in creating a maintaining effective change, communication and engagement teams in a project environment, driving performance and achieving project deliverables.
