Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Program Director to join their team.
The Program Director successful delivery of the client program. The PD role establishes stakeholder engagement, business communication, governance, program operating model and project execution strategy supported by the Senior Program officer and change manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate program governance, risk and change management is applied to ensure successful delivery of program scope, alignment with the strategic objectives. Leverages resources to identify and resolve complex problems, leveraging executives/stakeholder input to resolve any program key issues.
- Identify and document solution requirements via stakeholder engagement (internal, external & solution partners). Engaging the client, approved vendors/solution partners to optimise a solution design that replaces/upgrades all legacy infrastructure, enabling all dependant rolling stock and smart infrastructure components.
- Lead program decision making to complete implementation program business case. Plan program objectives, scope/deliverables, scheduling, resourcing, milestones and operating model across all greed outcomes. Adaptive management of deliverables, dependencies, variations and risks/issues to ensure successful program delivery.
Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Business or Project Management) and/or equivalent experience in large scale business transformation in a rail operations delivery organisation
- Significant experience in Telecommunications including Radio Area Networks, Mobile 4G/5G networks, Systems Integration,
Desirable:
- Digital Train Radio Systems (DTRS) and railway/train wireless systems and applications (eg ETCS Lvl 2)
- Experience in developing technology strategy to digitise from 2G to a modern 4G LTE/5G wireless capabilities that supports Railway requirements in Smart infrastructure, Internet of things, condition monitoring.
On offer is a daily rate contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
