About the role
This position is part of the Public Intoxication Response and sits within the AOD Outreach cluster. The Public Intoxication Response service will deliver a health response to people intoxicated in metro Melbourne in line with the recent decriminalisation of public intoxication by the Victorian Government.
The Program Facilitator will ensure compliance with Funding and Service Agreements, maximising client experience and engaging and retaining the best people to deliver the right service in the most effective and efficient manner. This role requires regular shift work including after-hours, day and night shifts, and weekends.

Your duties include:
- Facilitate delivery of assigned program(s), in compliance with funder metrics and performance measurements and within budget/funding provisions list
- Monitoring Funding Stream Service Model development, maintenance and evaluation and contributing to Department briefings
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to achieve responsive services which are codesigned with consumers and are impactful
- Enables the team through coaching, assisting the team as a collective and as individuals in achieving their goals.

Our ideal candidate:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Extensive management leadership experience working in community or public health with marginalised populations
- Demonstrated skills and experience developing and leading team and organisational culture and delivering to performance objectives
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with capacity to work effectively with managers, staff and consumers whilst also expertly managing strategic partnerships
- Victorian Driving license mandatory.
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
