Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is an expanding boutique secular social purpose organisation, motivated to make a difference in the lives of individuals. ICS Out of Home Care services apply needs-based thinking to attachment-focused care within a trauma-informed therapeutic milieu. ICS services work with children, young people and their families (where appropriate) to identify and address therapeutic needs, as well as to support a transition to family-based care settings. The multi-disciplinary team includes Care Practitioners, Residential Coordinators and the General Manager. Other services include family based care services and other family support services.
About the role
This is a leadership role across the services responsible for supporting service delivery for children, young people and families. The role is responsible to ensure all allocated programs are delivered in a manner congruent with service agreements, operational plans, regulatory requirements as well as the practice model and methods to ensure the needs of children, young people and their families are met, giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential. This role will cover both ICS Residential Intervention services as well as expanding ICS Family-Based Care services.
The role is dynamic, busy and fast-paced, requiring a high level of agility, professionalism and organisation. Some tasks and responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the effective and efficient operations of the child protection residential care services operated by Infinity Community Solutions (ICS).
- Provide effective leadership and program management to ensure high quality service delivery, as per the specifications, requirements and performance indicators defined within the service agreement, relevant practice requirements and any other relevant program and / or organisational documentation in order to effectively respond to client needs.
- Develop and assist in the management of systems to maintain data and statistics to inform service delivery and contribute to accountability for outcomes achieved.
- Assist with the monitoring of compliance with policy, procedures, work instructions, and other organisational and legislative requirements.
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to prepare, undertake and maintain external licensing/accreditation requirements.
- Participate in the ICS After Hours On Call support rotation
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology/ Human Services or related discipline.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with children and families, around the management of children with complex behaviours and/or family intervention
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar management role within a Not for Profit/Non-Government Organisation with a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Excellent operational leadership and management skills, with the capacity to translate strategies into operational activities.
- Experience in evidence based practice and evaluation in a human services context.
- Experience in financial, risk, property and human resource management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to understand complex issues, draw conclusions and articulate clear and focused positions to wide and diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
- South Australian P2 or above Driver Licence.
- Possess / obtain a current Working with Children Check (SA & Qld)
- Possess / obtain a ‘suitable’ Statement of Psychological Suitability
- Ability to apply for any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
